GARLIC & HERB BREAD (Dip
Mix)
2 tbsp Warm Water
1 pkg Dick’s Gourmet Dip Mix (GARLIC & HERB)
2 sticks Butter or Margarine, softened
Blend water with dip mix.
Let set for 5 minutes.
Add to softened butter and mix well.
Spread over bread and bake at 400 degrees for 8-15 minutes.
HONEY MUSTARD BACON DIP (Dip
Mix)
1 pkg Sour Cream (8oz)
2 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp your favorite mustard
1 pkg Dick’s Gourmet Dip Mix (BACON & ONION)
1 tbsp Dick’s Wild Root Horseradish
Blend together well and refrigerate for a minimum of 15 minutes.
BY THINNING THIS RECIPE WITH ABOUT 2 TBSP OF WATER: A GOOD SALAD
DRESSING CAN BE MADE!!
SOUR CREAM & DILL CUCUMBER SALAD
(Dip
Mix)
3 large Cucumbers, sliced thin
1 small Onion, sliced thin
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1 pkg Dick’s Gourmet Dip Mix (CUCUMBER DILL)
1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp Dick’s Wild Root Horseradish
Blend all dressing ingredients together.
Fold in cucumbers and onions.
Refrigerate for 1 hour
CREAMY VEGGIE SALAD DRESSING (Dip
Mix)
1 cup Mayonnaise
1 cup Sour Cream
1/4 cup Water
3 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
1 pkg Dick’s Gourmet Dip Mix (GARDEN VEGGIE)
1 tbsp Dick’s Wild Root Horseradish
Blend together well and
refrigerate for a minimum of 15 minutes.
GOOD ON FRESH GARDEN SALAD, PASTA, OR RICE!!
RANCH DRESSING (Dip
Mix)
3/4 cup Water
2 1/4 cups Mayonnaise
1 pkg Dick’s Gourmet Dip Mix (CLASSIC RANCH)
1 tbsp Dick’s Wild Root Horseradish
Using whisk, mix water and mayonnaise together.
Add dip mix and horseradish.
Continue using whisk to blend
all ingredients.
SOUTHWEST SALAD DRESSING
(Dip
Mix)
1 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1/4 cup Water
1 tbsp Lime Juice (white vinegar can be substituted)
1 pkg Dick’s Gourmet Dip Mix (SOUTHWEST CHILI & ONION)
1 tbsp Dick’s Wild Root Horseradish. Blend together well and refrigerate
for a minimum of 15 minutes. More or less seasoning may be added to achieve
the desired flavor.
GREAT ON TACO SALAD!!
HORSERADISH
MASHED POTATOS
6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/4 cup butter, melted
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup sour cream
2 TBSP Dick's Wild Root Horseradish
Place potatoes
in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil. cook until tender,
then drain. Add butter, salt, pepper and mash the potatoes. Beat in sour
cream and horseradish.
HOLIDAY
SALAD
(2) 3oz. pkgs. cranberry or raspberry Jell-O
2 cups boiling water
Mix and set aside.
Mix together in a bowl:
1 can condensed milk
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup chopped nuts
1 small carton cottage cheese drained
1 small can crushed pineapple
2 TBSP Dick's Wild Root Horseradish
Blend well
and add to slightly gelled Jello. Pour into 9x13 inch glass pan. Refrigerate.
Cut into squares and serve.
MACARONI SALAD WITH FRESH
HORSERADISH & SHRIMP
2 cups elbow macaroni
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped Vidalia onion
2 TBSP sweet pickle juice
2 TBSP Dick's Wild Root Horseradish
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1 cup salad dressing ( Miracle Whip )
1 cup mayonnaise
1 pound chopped, cooked shrimp
Cook macaroni with salt in
water about 10 to 15 minutes at slow boil or until tender. Keep stirring
so it doesn't stick. Drain in colander and let cool, while you prepare the
onions, celery and shrimp. Mix all ingredients together. Add the sweet pickle
juice, celery seed, salad dressing and mayonnaise. Cover bowl and let stand
in the refrigerator for an hour or so to let it blend the flavors of the
ingredients.
CRANBERRY HORSERADISH APPETIZER
1 8oz package cream
cheese
4 oz of Dick's Wild Root Cranberry or Apricot Horseradish
Soften cream cheese. Add your choice of horseradish. Blend well, serve with
your favorite crackers or pretzels.
Try stuffing celery with this mixture also.
